About the Author
Dr. Dale Matcheck has a degree in economics from the University of Michigan (1984) and a PhD. in Economics from Cornell University (1993). He has been a professor of economics at Northwood University since 1996. Prior to that he taught at the University of Michigan’s Flint campus. His research interests are in the fields of public policy and the economics of the environment. He is the co-editor (with Timothy G. Nash) of When We Are Free, an anthology of essays in defense of individual liberty and the market economy. He is a member of the FEE Faculty Network.
